Why are there 3 prices for each session?
Cairn uses a flexible pricing model, providing 3 cost choices for all of our camp sessions.
Option A is the traditionally subsidized rate, Option C is a rate that is more representative of the true cost of camp, and Option B is the mid-point.
Every family can choose the level of payment that is right for their situation. The option you select in no way affects your campers experience at Cairn.
We know that, for some of our families, even the Option A rate is still prohibitive. Please know that the Campership Fund and other funding opportunities are available to you and your family.
If your family is in a financial position to choose Option B or C, your generosity will be used to contribute to various improvements around Cairn. Over the past few years, Cairn has been able to install change rooms in all of our cabins, purchase new kitchen appliances including two convection ovens, a range, and a new dishwasher, increase seasonal staff wages, and do some behind-the-scenes work like upgrading the electrical infrastructure at camp.
