Glen Mhor Directors
GlenĀ Mhor Programme – Past Camp Directors
When we passed our 75th year of camping at Cairn in the Glen Mhor programme we became more and more interested in recapturing some of the history that we are missing. To this end we are asking for the help of all associated with camp since it’s beginning in 1930. We would like to make up a timeline of all of the Camp Directors that we have had. Please leave us a comment with any more information you may have.

Regarding your list of directors – I attended Glen Mhor on Lake Simcoe c.1950-53. My late uncle Rev. Norman McMillan, pastor of Caledonia Presbyterian, was a director at some point during those years.
Thanks Jim! I’ve added him in. If you know anyone that could confirm the dates just post here in the comments

I worked at Glen Mhor in 1994 and I'm wondering if there has been, or will be a reunion for the staff?? Thanks!
Randy! What perfect timing! This year is Glen Mhor’s 80th Anniversary, so we have 2 big alumni events that you can attend!
The first is our Alumni Weekend, which will take place at Glen Mhor from September 10-12, 2010. The cost is $80 per person for a full weekend of camp fun. Family is also invited to this event. Gather up your old camp buddies and come all together! Registration is available online.
The other event is a 80th Anniversary Gala Dinner on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Knox Presbyterian Agincourt (Scarborough, off the 401). This is a fundraiser, so tickets are tiered at $80, $60 or $40, depending on your financial situation. Tickets are available by calling our camp office at 705-767-3300. We’ll have a fancy dinner, silent auction and a concert that features alumni, staff and campers. Definitely not to be missed!
Hope to see you at some of these events, Randy!
P.S. What’s your camp name? I was a camper at Glen Mhor in 1994…
