Week 1: July 4-10, 2021

 Colour Games 1

Age 7-16
Cost: $695 +HST

Come one, come all, to the 2020 Colour Games!

Wait, but isn’t it 2021 now? Good observation. However, since Colour Games wasn’t able to occur in 2020, Cairn will be hosting TWO Colour Games’ camps this year: one in July for the 2020 title, and one in August for 2021!

Once again, the Red Dragons and the Blue Knights will compete in games of sport, logic, art, and nature to find out who the new reigning champions will be. Colour Games campers will get to experience all of the traditional Glen Mhor activities along with 2 full-to-the-max-fun days of Colour Games! At some unknown point during the week, Colour Games will break, at which point each camper will be appointed either a Blue Knight or a Red Dragon, and represent their team in a variety of competitions both individually and as groups within their team. Colour Games campers will come together within their colour teams, all the while learning the value of friendly competition, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Campers, bring your blue and red clothing, and get ready to show your Colour Games spirit! The Blue Knights claimed the title to rule the kingdom in 2019 – who will it be this year?

*Be sure to register early, as this camp is extremely popular and spots will fill quickly. Note that there will be a Colour Games camp in both July and August for 2021.

*Please know that some specific elements of this camp program may be adapted due to COVID-19 requirements and procedures that will be in place by summer 2021.

How do you describe a camp that is truly indescribable? Well, the best that we can do is tell you that it’s a week unlike any other! In previous years, Outrageous camp has seen themed meals, like a pajama meal, supersize meal, and a wacky hair meal; a camp-wide backwards day; and a truly outrageous messy afternoon that featured paint, whipped cream, and slime. Campers also have the chance to put their outrageous ideas forward and have them drawn randomly over the week. One thing is for sure, that along with some of the traditional activities that you know and love about camp, things are sure to get OUTRAGEOUS.

*Please know that some specific elements of this camp program may be adapted due to COVID-19 requirements and procedures that will be in place by summer 2021.

Throughout the week, PIFs earn between 25 and 30 community service hours that can be put towards their high school diploma requirements. Pay it Forward is an amazing opportunity to experience camp in a whole different way. PIF is about giving back and making an impact with that familiar camp spirit. We can’t wait to see you there!
